The main activities of the company are vessel handling, agency of Tankers, Break Bulk, Cruise vessel handling, Crew / security guard handling , ship chandelling etc. Modern Shipping is the member of MULTIPORT vessel agency network. Modern Shipping was representing Hanjin shipping line since 1995 till 2016 and was awarded as the best agent for the year 2014 World wide by Hanjin shipping .

Seven Seas Shipping & Logistics LLC. was established in 2009 for taking care of the freight forwarding activities of the shipping division. They represent FEDEX Trade Network in Oman and is also a network member of FIATA.
